Punat is a charming coastal town on the southwest side of Krk Island, tucked inside one of the most protected bays on the Adriatic—so it naturally lives and breathes the sea.

Punat feels authentic and warm: a Mediterranean atmosphere, friendly locals, great places to eat (from casual pizzerias to seafood spots), beautiful promenades and beaches, and one of the best children's parks on the island. For a special little escape, take a short boat ride to the nearby islet Košljun—a peaceful nature reserve with a historic Franciscan monastery and a small museum, just across the bay from Punat.
